A warm hello from the London borough of Richmond Upon Thames. We are Angela and Melanie. We are old friends and founders of Cocoon Home Therapy, bringing home styling solutions to the many, not the few. Most days you will find us together around one of our kitchen tables, working on client room boards and shopping guides over a few good cappuccinos…and the odd piece of cake.
OUR MAIN FOCUS IS TO OFFER YOU THE INSPIRATION, SOLUTIONS, CONFIDENCE AND SUPPORT TO STYLE YOUR HOME SO THAT IT BRINGS YOU DAILY JOY, WHOEVER YOU ARE, WHEREVER YOU LIVE, WHATEVER YOUR BUDGET.
We founded Cocoon Home Therapy in 2011 to offer our clients accessible, achievable and affordable home styling solutions. We know how hectic life is and with our Cocoon My Room room boards and shopping guides, we can help you get the best out of your home. Let’s grab a coffee and get started!
I live in an old Georgian house - it’s a project! I am drawn to black and whites, neutral tones and shades of blue and green. I also love a little orange.
I’m married to Paul and I have a daughter Lucia (14) and a son Marcus (10).
When I look in my wardrobe I see a lot of clothes from Cos. I love the ageless style. It’s classic with a creative twist. I think if I were to describe my home style, I’d say it’s organic. I am drawn to neutral, calming tones and natural materials. I take inspiration from the places where I feel my best. I love holidaying in Mallorca and Puglia and I like to bring the feel of these places into my home.
Having lived in Mexico City and Copenhagen for 3 years we settled back in Hampton in a Victorian house near Bushy Park in 2013. We undertook a refurbishment project in 2014 and I am still working my way round restyling room by room; it’s a passion so I can’t really imagine this house will ever be finished!
I am married to Richard and I have two boys, Luca (9) and Leo (3).
When I look in my wardrobe I see quite a mixture of styles which are reflected in my home style choices. I love the minimalism of the scandi but I also adore the colours and vibrancy of a more bohemian, ethnic style. I suppose I would call my style ‘eclectic’. I particularly love the pieces in my home that we bought whilst living abroad, or those that I inherited from family. They are evocative of happy memories and bring me joy.
